Edgefield Modern Dance builds discipline, teamwork, and confidence through contemporary and Hip Hop styles. The CCA has earned multiple distinctions at the Singapore Youth Festival.
Description
Modern Dance not only cultivates the physical development of the students, but also trains them to be disciplined and enhances the cultivation of values such as teamwork, respect and confidence. Under the Edgefield Modern Dance programme, dancers are exposed to various genres such as contemporary dance forms, and popular genre, Hip Hop. This form of physical activity is tailored to suit today’s youths as they have the energy to match the rigour of dance and have an avenue to express themselves creatively. The CCA also hopes to cultivate a “Disciplined Mind” in the students through learning different forms of dance, and honing their craft in this CCA.
